In March 2024, Christoph Vrenegor, Site Manager of Lauer CE-Safety in Coesfeld, was a guest speaker at the Osnabrück - Emsland - Grafschaft Bentheim Chamber of Crafts. The topic of the seminar was ‘Exchange of experience for welding supervisors’, an advanced training event that met with great interest.
Mr Vrenegor gave two informative presentations, which were met with great interest by the participants: Firstly, he shed light on the ‘New EU Machinery Regulation’, a highly topical subject of great relevance to the industry. The latest developments and changes to the regulation were presented to bring the audience up to date. In the second presentation, Mr Vrenegor addressed ‘The importance of the Machinery Directive and Regulation for the machine operator’. This area is of crucial importance for companies that operate machines and systems and therefore received special attention.

The Lauer team is currently developing a one-day training course that deals with the practical implementation of the new
